The Sini-Gang are pinoys depicting a slice of Filipino-American life in Virginia Beach, VA via a weekly, light-hearted Podcast. We discuss anything and everything, and we call 'em as we see 'em through our Filipino-American eyes. Don't take us too seriously though, we don't.

dear mechabombastic,

\"2005 World Cup Professional Rising Star LATIN Champion\" refers to the general style of dance. latin in this context refers to the tango from argentina, the samba from brazil, the paso doble from spain, the mambo from cuba, etc. . . dances whose origins come from latin america/spain. that is where the \"latin\" part of the title is from.

and as for cheryl burke\'s ethnicity (or at least part of it), her mother is from nueva ecija, a philippine province.
