We change things up this week as we help inform the filipino community of Virginia Beach of the re-election efforts of filipino city councilman Ron Villanueva. We conduct a 45 minute interview to help highlight the accomplishments and achievements of Mr. Villanueva's historic first four years of serving on the Virginia Beach City Council and what he has planned should he be re-elected. His efforts to promote filipinos in Virginia Beach have been instrumental in the movement to make the filipino community a recognized voice. Ron emphasizes the importance that the city council has on the community and the possibilities that are created by having a filipino as an elected official.
